They like to have options for their patients and that is reasonable when there are no options. The helmet is all about retarding the growth of tumor cells, not liking them, not finding them and preventing them from growing. The helmet’s technology does nothing supposedly to normal tissue, it only affects cancerous tissue, therefore it’s no cure, it is palliative, and once you go on it, it is not clear when you can stop using it. Do you wear it forever? 21,000 a month starts to add up to a lot of money if you’re living longer. Millions of dollars for a palliative treatment. I see it’s value for those who have more risk of recurrence but if there are treatments that do more than just being a palliative, those should be the primary treatments and the SOC.
