Interesting reading, for sure. I have a question… starts from this thought, so, I copied this opinion from within this post:

Ok. So. A Question for the board. Maybe JC can help. So, if a BO is suddenly announced (regardless, for a moment FeM or Ski, as to the price of NWBO prior to that sudden announcement), what happens to shorts, IF? Do they have to, account for, and thus buy in, ALL short shares?? Let’s say MRK offers 1 share of MRK for every 3 shares of NWBO. Or, hey, let’s just say $30 cash for each share. Do the shorts NEED to account for every short shares? How? What if there are, in fact, still a, large, number of, hidden, aka illegal naked short shares? Some entity will have to account for these, right???? How?? Buying in the open market??? Can the market price of NWBO exceed the BO price? How do they cover, IF? IF, JC, hypothetically, IF, how do they account for these shares? TIA.
