Knowing you enjoy your backyard hummingbirds, I thought I would post this.

We have a hummingbird feeder, which is appreciated by the local hummingbirds, (they love fighting over it).

So I made a DIY hummingbird fountain. There are a few YouTube videos about them. I ordered a solar-powered water-fountain pump, and bought a cheap plastic bowl and plate.

I like how it came out, and placed it next to the Rose of Sharon bush, and Zinnias (also near the hummingbird feeder).

However, Not one stupid hummingbird has tested it LOL! It has been going for 2 weeks. I thought I would create a neighborhood hummingbird Pool Party!

They enjoy the Rose of Sharon bush, so they are right next to it.

Oh well. Something about it they don't trust. Too Small, Located too high, too low, sitting on a ladder etc.

Maybe more luck next year ha!
