The fact that the company issued a quick rebuttal means that they have plenty of skin in the game and are well aware of current happenings.
They want to ensure a proper portrayal of their company and management team with no defamation whatsoever.
It’s a shame their name was even mentioned in the lawsuit.
Regarding the silence in GMER from a corporate standpoint - this is the same that happened with my company right before our major buyout.
Completely silence and dark mode and then one morning…boom…we all woke up to an amazing email about a HUGE buyout one could only dream off.
Personally, with all the underlying factors here (AND they employee stock purchase plan), I think that’s exactly what’s in play here.
