Zab, he comparison that you provided seems to point out that this is OK in you’re parties mind and coming here illegally is just fine by your standards. So those who come here via airplane to our airports another point of entry to our Country there the rules must always apply, no question in you’re minds here on that subject. So why two sets of rules for the same process? Now back in the day when I was a child I saw many work visa type workers come to my small town and work in the fields from early summer to early October every year. I had no issue with them or for those that still do this today under a work visa whatever their profession happens to be. What you are forgetting in these equations is that management of our Country has assisted in this effort to have large swathes of folks from South America/Central America head north to our Country under the guise of declaring Amnesty and wanting to declare Asylum. I for one other than news accounts do not know the exact number of got away folks that have crossed our Southern Border as I am not there counting them as they flock across every day and night. Along with that process they have been informed if not by our leaders but more so their own family members that you can come to America work for cash and get all the medical and food stamps and education for your children as they have to take you into their Country. They all know this already so more come with these same requests by the thousands. Not a few hundred more but thousands from all over not just South/Central America. Chinese, African’s Cuban’s, Iranians, and many other Countries are doing so here. So once you get your head out of you know where you will see this is not the same as it was years ago the game has changed for some reason. What reason could it possibly be you may ask? Well one reason is they our great leaders have discovered that no one in their Countries can live up to all the requirements of competing with America nor with any climate accord agreements and pay scales or health coverage and medicine availability.
So our leaders have made the decision to make our Country a third world Country so that we have to bring our current level of stature in the world to their level or a level that they can tolerate the United States at in the current world. This lowers our cost of living it promotes more social programs for these folks where it used to be a safety net for American’s only, no longer is that the case. Look at the great Governor of CA. he gives all illegal folks free healthcare at the cost of guess who? You and me if we live in CA. that is. Why so many CA. folks are getting the heck out of that State they see what is going on here, you see some of them have a brain and understand those former resources they used to get now they do not get them and they are given over to illegal folks. This is the Party you belong to. There has got to be a better way. And all of your arguments that neither side has done anything to resolve it is true, they both stink at sitting on their hands because money is involved, and those folks in DC well they all love money especially for themselves, what is in it for me…
Our leaders should be going to these Countries and making deals with them like the number of illegal immigrants who come to America there is a penalty of $1million dollars per adult person and $2 million for every child under 18 years of age. These amounts will be taken from the free money our Federal Government gives to you’re Country now in handouts. Otherwise straighten up your Countries and play by the rules and you get the full amount moving forward, you don’t money is gone with possibility it will be totally gone if you mess up continually. Or some such penalty be imposed on these Countries who continually violate our U.S. Laws.
Again I am not against legal immigration policy where the overall count of folks is set at say 100,000 per year plus any legal valid work visas being allowed. Something like this.
It is hard to debate with one if you believe it is ok over here to do x, y, x. but over here at the airports you have to follow these controls. Now only difference to me is at the airport at least they have name and a document which match a person up and an idea of where they are headed to, instead of zero documents and no clue where they are heading to. You cannot have it both ways here when the system is set up the same for each entry point. Illegal immigration because it has happened for years is OK with this board when all along it was wrong. Just saying. What rules/laws do you think these folks will follow once set up in America if they broke the law into coming here illegally do you know that answer to that one? Due to ignorance of our laws and rules only, some will take advantage fully of it without penalty as our law enforcement have criminals to go after. That is a whole other subject matter.
By they way I do not appreciate folks stating because I want legal immigration that I am some racist person, that could not be further from the truth here in my case for sure. It is like me calling you racist against folks who fly into this Country to immigrate or work on visas. Thanks.
By the way Zab that was war time and they were after a bad leader in Germany attempting to ruin everyone's life in Europe. Different circumstances for sure and those folks had a much tougher time in coming to America as well back then. I agree we are a Melting Pot of the World's people and I like it that way it is just rules are made to be followed and immigration is one that I believe is a big question mark on how our Government is handling it.
