Well, look at this way perhaps. The entity - Ihub basically is looking at whats important to them, which would be their world of subscribers and visitors, not the whole population. From their numbers they believe users have passed the 50% mobile device utilization or whatever percent warrants whatever it is they are doing.

However the percentage of the internet population using mobile devices for all their internet of things is still in the minority of the 310 million people in our country alone.

It is the marketers of software and mobile devices that are attempting to convince the paying public that we are a nation of people starting at 3 inch screens because ... they make money.

Websites do what they have to to keep making money and staying current with the trends. Mobile devices imo is still a trend, not a total way of life. I'm sure that people and websites and phone makers benefiting from the conditioning would try and argue that point.

The cloud was created because of the shortfall and impossibility of a phone or handheld device holding all your information like your safe home desktop hard drives and to keep you using that handheld device, they - marketers and media providers came up with a way of sharing and holding your personal information on their internet servers (their computers), thus creating a false sense of independence from your home office and selling you on how convenient it is pushing your personal data to their servers, for a fee of course. Yea, yea, it's encrypted. Big deal. It's on their system and when their system goes down you lose everything. It happens. And by the way, cloud servers are under the same Fed laws of subpoenas for your data as isp's and even this website.
