Updating ... I have a pile of TAB betting slips, pieces of paper you fill out to lodge a bet if you'd rather use the machine on the bar than the automatic ones on the wall, with names of people written on them .. https://help.tab.com.au/s/article/TAB-Form-Filling-out-a-betting-card-in-a-retail-outlet . I use them as a names crutch because they are always handy there. Yesterday a guy said, why go to the bar machine? I said because i like the personal contact. He said, ok, and you learn so much more about the people there too. He didn't know two of the bar people are champion Irish dancers. Most all customers who know now only know because i have told them.
