I don't think Gorsuch will change his mind; he strikes me as a person who'd never do that. I think the most likely to change his mind is Kavanaugh. We remember the drama of his confirmation hearing--"I LIKE BEER!!!"--but tend to forget that when he was first nominated, some observers had doubts because they thought he might be considered "too liberal".

Amy? Maybe. I think it's possible she feels mildly guilty about going back on what she said about stare decisis. But not all THAT guilty, so...

But it's not that simple. They could salve their consciences by writing partial dissents. But that wouldn't help women who need abortions.
