You misunderstood. Was the huge spike planned? Did it make sense to spike so high without actual information? Management spelled out it's plans 18 months ago. If I was management would I want AF to shoot his L**d during a private overview that wasn't officially the entire enchilada? Maybe. Would it have been better if the hit squad showed up later, when a very public release comes out? IMO no. So we're left with what we do know. Has AF spent his bullet? Yes. Has management completed all it's milestones? No.
One wins the short game, and the other wins the long. If you're a long like I am for 7 years, that's the game you're in to win.
