I think that's fair,,Summers would have voted for BBB..
I believe he would have gotten rid of the 'Tax cut for the rich' in it which would have gotten it closer to fully funded....(or at least tried, it was a weird Justification the dems gave for not removing it when Bernie brought it up)
Biden is in a tough spot with inflation,,,, His only fault was the recovery act......What he shouldn't do is blame Putin for gas prices.....
The supply chain issue would be a great opportunity for Biden to point out how vulnerable/stupid we really are.....We do need to get back to manufacturing more of what we need here at home,,,Its win, win
Inflation is at 8.5% now,,,,It can be debated how much worse it would be with the underfunded BBB bill and the tax cut for the rich in it with the unforseen consequences that came about adding to it..
Dems lied on the news daily saying it was fully funded...They lied about Manchin too who would pick and choose programs to get the price tag down.....As your own DD pointed out, Manchin likes all the programs with only small tweaks...
No one likes to be lied to, or lied about and why dems haven't used their funding for prescription drugs or CTC since,,,I have no idea......
