North, I disagree. That 5 year support was built on having $150M or so in cash. We have a lot more cash now than then. We also have RI results. Considering where we were before RI, this is much worse. It won't surprise me if we trade below $2 if they blow this earnings report. I put the odds at 2-1 they do nothing of substance.
It's past time for drastic action. Eliminate most of the rest of the sales force. Spend whatever is necessary to get the combo pill done within 12 months. No bonuses or options until the combo pill is launched. Lower the price of V in the US to insurance companies/pharmacies in exchange for exclusivity for a period not less than 24 months. Do I expect any of this to happen?...of course not. Management has never shown one ounce sacrifice for the good of the company, because if they did, we wouldn't be here. No doubt the entire market is down, but as other stocks crater, it will make it all the more difficult for AMRN to recover.
