I am starting to question your understanding of how Grand Juries work?
You’d much rather have the current grand jury, which I can say for sake of efficiency in proceedings, and the fact that courts are just now starting to function at full capacity from affects of 2 years of Covid backlog, AUSA would be hard pressed to convene a separate GJ when he already has one convened in Ohio for a defendant with a similar case.
Whether it is a Federal Grand Jury which convenes 16 to 23 or a State like Florida may be 15 ... where they only need 12 to find probable cause ... Grand Juries are convened on a continous and regular basis and the duration depends ... Federal can be 18 to 24 months ... others may be 12 months.
They do not meet on a continuous basis and may meet weekly, twice a month etc ... and they hear any and all cases brought before them.
So where are you getting that ... according to you ... the mere fact that the new 2021 USA vs Svorai case being bound over to the Grand Jury which is required in a Federal Case ... no shocker ... means that makes it part of the 2019 USA vs Vaccaro case that does not involve CATV?
Or that it means there would be some lengthy or arduous process to convene a Grand Jury?
For someone that is trying very hard to come off as credible in this area ... your statements do not make sense.
A Grand Jury hears any and all cases brought before them by the prosecutor AUSA in this case. The fact that a case goes to a grand jury does not make them connected. Nor does it mean a Grand Jury only hears one case or a particular case. Some cases can be brought before them a day after it is bound over to the Grand Jury ... others could be years ... as the prosecution can do it whenever they want as kong as it is before the Statue of Limitations which is typically 5 years.
The more and more I look into your statements ... the more and more they do not add up. So please explain your reasoning and rationale behind these statements.
So far the only thing you have offered as proof or evidence that the 2021 USA vs Svorai case is part of the 2019/20 USA vs Vaccaro case in which Svorai is a defendant ... is only that the 2021 case went to the Grand Jury ...??? Really. That is it.
Well ... then your statement seems to imply that since it was sent to a Grand Jury that it has to be part of the case because they did not convene a seperate Grand Jury?
Yet ... Grand Juries are convened on a regular and continuous basis anywhere from 12 months to 24 months to hear any cases brought before them by prosecution. So that does not support your claim either. The 2021 Case does not need a new or seperate Grand Jury ... Grand Juries are already in place. They hear more than 1 case. So absolutely they could hear this case and it would not mean the case was connected or added to a seperate unrelated other case.
I am trying really hard to understand your point to all of this as very little seems to be rooted in any factual information.
Do you think the 2021 case is the same as what happened in the 2019/20 case.
