You're right on the money, the Journal should be out before ASCO, but it's not impossible that they're making both a technical presentation there, as well as a longer appearance in the Experts Theater. We really won't know for certain until we either see the Journal, or a title and Abstract for a technical presentation.
What would be the advantage of doing both presentations. In the technical presentation Dr. Liau could present the technical results of what happened in the trial, that would go to the attendees, and I believe could be shared by the company later. In the Experts Theater they could further discuss the companies plans for DCVax-L, they could openly discuss results, they could have trial patients speak about their treatment in the trial, in short it could be a major PR event for the company which I believe can be webcast to all directly from ASCO.
If it were done with the agreement of the Journal publisher, it could be published immediately thereafter.
I don't know which way this will go, but one thing I believe is certain, the quiet period will be over by the time Dr. Bosch makes his presentation, and I suspect that many will be joining him, perhaps including Dr. Liau, but it's proper for the company to sponsor a presentation in the Experts Theater, while Dr. Liau would be the person who provides the Abstract if they were making a technical presentation.
