After being a 100/day guy for a time nicotine is finally OFF my addiction list. You'd know medics say it's more addictive than heroin. A personal experimentation period on that years ago confirmed, in my mind, that's true. It's just that a bad heroin addiction will likely kill you quicker. I can even have the odd cigarette now if offered. And hate the taste of it. The very occasional cone or three of weak homegrown weed satiates any and all urges i have along those lines now.

Good luck to both of you in giving up smoking. As you guys have said it's a heavy burden in more ways than two.
