Bitcoin-Mining Cos. Rising Alongside Cryptocurrencies

Shares of bitcoin-mining companies were rising in unison with cryptocurrencies, following a down day on Friday.

Riot Blockchain Inc. shares were up 11% to $22.93, Hut 8 Mining Corp. shares were up 8% to $6.39, and Marathon Digital Holding Inc. shares were rising 9% to $31.45.

All three stocks were down 4% to 5% at the end of Friday's trading session.

Bitcoin was up 6% to $47,505 and is up 16% in the past week. Ethereum was up 7% to $3,367 and Litecoin was up 6% to $132. Ethereum is up 16% in the past week, as was Litecoin.
