Right now, too expensive. But later....

why not self administer blarcasemine[sic] from a supplier like this one?

Two, maybe three reasons.

First, it will cost (minimum) $442.00 for each daily dose. For a month, a minimum of $13,260.00. All of my (few) discretionary dollars were used to purchase a few thousand AVXLs. No more funds.

Secondly, a gram of the stuff probably comes in a sealed container. I have no analytical balance that I could, each day, use to pull off just 50mg.

Lastly, I doubt that they sell stuff like this to private individuals not associated with a commercial, educational, or research entity.

Fortunately, my HSP is mild; moderate spasticity in the adductor muscles of my legs. With my walker I'm able to walk OK. Steps are a problem, and can't drive a stick-shift car. I'll wait for blarcamesine to get approved for some CNS disease, will then have my neurologist give me an off-label prescription. By then, I'll be able to sell off a few of my Anavex shares to pay for the drug. Four digit share price then.
