The existing Alzheimer's drug.

Those questions are nicely put. Slow, Stop, Reverse, Prevent. Yes, how far can A2-73 go, and with which patients does it go all the way!

I didn't mention that an SOC (standard of care) medicine for Alzheimer's, Aricept, merely slows the lethal progression of the disease. Aricept is widely prescribed for the disease. "Doctor, my wife is really declining with her Alzheimer's. Isn't there anything that be prescribed for her?

"Why, yes there is. Here's a prescription for Aricept. For a time, it will slow the progression of your wife's decline. But even so, you'll still have to put her in a health care facility when the drug no longer works, in a few months or so."

I'm familiar with Aricept. My father was a test subject in it's clinical study. It barely slowed his decline. Hardly worth the effort. If only we would have had blarcamesine.
