I've worked with German automotive engineers. If you don't cut them off, they will continue to tweek, and tweek, and tweek, wanting perfection of their product. Its very possible we are seeing the same type of German behavior. I think someone in the organization needs to be able to stand up and say enough.
Obviously we'll never know the issues, we can only guess what is going on inside the walls, but we have access to supercomputing. I hope they don't have a dude "sifting" through data in a back room somewhere.
