We are a hollow, shallow nation if we can stand back while a country the embodies the Spirit of the free world and is bravely fighting for it.....
Certain ideologies react differently when it comes to physical confrontation or attack. Stand and fight, try and talk it or bribe it away or turn away and flee.
Here are the results (by ideology) of a poll{by Quinnipiac) asking "Poll Asks Republicans and Democrats: If America Were Invaded, Would You Stay and Fight, or Flee?"
Here are the results:
A majority (55 percent) say they would stay and fight, while 38 percent say they would leave the country
Republicans say 68 - 25 percent they would stay and fight
independents say 57 - 36 percent they would stay and fight
So, we have a Democrat as President and a host of partisan advisers, to help him make decisions. A president voted in by an ideological group, the majority of which, would not fight to save their own country.
Given all this, it is not hard to understand why they would find any excuse not to fight, but would rather stand off and cheer, while throwing money at the problem. I mean, look how the dunce cut and ran out of Afghanistan.
Instead of an orderly withdrawal, using Bagram Airfield to remove Americans and our arms out of Afghanistan, he chose the airport in Kabul, whereby chaos ensued and Americans, as well as billions of dollars worth of equipment.
The very same advisors are in charge of how to deal with Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Think about all this for a moment. Is it any wonder that there are those that have concerns about the survival of Ukraine? I understand your viewpoint and it is evident and understandable why others don't.
