This is beyond a good game of chess, where you can sacrifice a pawn, or any piece, except the King, to win the game. Then there is the China factor, and every other country in the world. Who aligns with who, wars make strange bedfellows. Even worse when wars start,they are hard to stop. America stopped WWII by doing the unthinkable. Now we think it from the start, and who knows what is next. Do we lay wasteland to the world just to prove a point of standing up for what is right. We have learned in America that 30 percent don't care about what's right, they just want to play at democracy as long as they decide everything.
