Then again we live a world seemingly
controlled by "irrational actors" these days.


Maybe not so irrational after all - Russia's main income as a nation - is from oil and gas.

Could well be that the explosion of prices we see now - is what it is all about. Under 45 oil below $30 - now over $122 - and rising. Every oil producing country is getting rich - from the combined misery's of 46 handling of energy and war in Ukraine.
