My understanding is that Pfizer company policy at the moment is that reps are not allowed going to GP offices yet and not allowed to book restaurant presentations. Pfizer is the one doing family docs while HLS is supposed to be dealing with the cardiologists. I organized the presentation myself and then just asked HLS to pay the bill. I asked HLS instead of Pfizer because I haven’t had any contact with anyone from Pfizer since October, who at the time appeared very interested in some promotional ideas I had and then just never got back to me.
My take is that the regional manager has the opinion that I will drive promotion and sales in my area whether they fund/assist me or not so they decided to leave me to do it alone and spend their time/money on other regions.
