here is aj's post from a few minutes ago on targets for SPX
rcks, I've been thinking about that formation the past couple of days, and when combined with the 2nd year new pres election cycle, this is what I was thinking could happen last night before all the shooting started:
End of Feb - 4,000 to 4050 SPX.
Bounce into end of April.
End of May - 3,800 SPX.
Bounce into June.
End of July - 3,600 SPX.
That would work with the cycles, with maybe a re-test of a low in the fall.
The end of July target would satisfy that H&S top target.
Anyway, that's what I was thinking about 15-hours ago. Today's action will tell us a lot. Even if we did make a low this morning, we should expect a re-test soon.
