What happens when everyone segregates themselves by belief/opinion...

That is part of the problem with both parties. The far left and the far right have become entrenched in their own beliefs.

Tkae Kinzinger for example. He is a decent person and I could see myself voting for him. But the far left would stone me in the public square for that.
