You said: “ Beyond that, the foundry cycle also could mean retooling their machinery to adopt new technology - precisely why Dr. Lebby is now working on the PDKs - Process Development Kits. This means that LWLG is actively working under NDA in the re-tooling phase to incorporate the Goo into products in my opinion. They have also disclosed they are working with mulitple foundries. ”

In this context Lebyy added that Lightwave’s materials are (compatible &) additive to current chip fabrication. Doesn’t sound like a lot of expensive tooling. Moreover he saw no real issues or hurdles to get Lightwave’s material into foundry production ( except finishing PDK’s) and no supply issues in providing polymer material to chip manufacturers. Sounds like foundries can offer existing silicon photonics chips, make them faster and more power efficient without a lot of expensive tooling and no material supply issues. Foundry margins on these chips should be attractive and better than existing chips.

Maybe Airedale has the spoken text available.
