Influence! Same as Shultz on the Theranos board. And they get assignments on certain committees with other board members. But, they carry with them some influence. You think Senator Bayh’s wife was an expert? A man like Duffy is an expert. People that write BLA’s or run drug companies are experts. Oncologist are experts.
