I think the only real question is:

Is there anything fundamentally wrong the the trial, how it was run or the data gathered, that would bring its integrity into question?

Now that we know the facts.

I’m don’t know enough to answer that question. From a layman’s perspective it seems the answer is no. Especially that other scientists have chimed in supporting the positive results.
