This whole topic kind of has the feel of a midstream special protocol assessment, which is not in the rule book, or BLA. There have been so many exceptions and allowable changes made during this trial that it makes me wonder sometimes if a conversation came up that basically laid out an “if you do this then we’ll do this” scenario and that with Merck’s or just Charles River Labs involvement this has created the quiet period that allows things that would otherwise be disclosed to remain unpublished and ready to spring upon the market when ready. Amazing leverage being displayed here while everything gets set up. Reminds me in a small way of the subterfuge employed during WW 2 by the Nazis and others throughout history. Best wishes.
