Explain how it would ever be possible to remain a market maker past the first IPO?

Literally you would attempt to make the market for the first company and you would sell shares taking a negative position and the company is bought out by a third party.

The company, the person buying, and the buyer all benefit together in a way you can't prove.

exact same level of cheating as free-cycling it can't be caught and you'd think it would happen all the time.

So what additional level of cheating are market makers doing to remain the market makers forever? Deleting shares you'd have to. Or you'd get bankrupted by buyouts ALL THE TIME.

As soon as you do more than match buyers and sellers you instantly lose to anyone with half a brain. Which is why the police have an IQ limit for hiring.

Unless you are so rich you are part of every IPO as an insider. In which case you would be pathetic for leaving our science right here with all those dollars.

Things have to change.
