Gary, I honestly feel this is NOT what happened. I strongly feel the trial remained randomized, and the only time that control patients crossed over to treatment was when they progressed and could or chose to do so.

For one, there are several examples of patients who were alive after the halt was initiated and some of us followed their progress online of either Facebook or the patient forums, and these patients never mentioned a thing about the trial having changed and having all been put on treatment. They were blinded and usually did not know if they were treatment or control.

If all patients were put on treatment as you and various other longs suggest, it appears that the patients didn't know it, and the company certainly didn't know it.
