It’s a very thorough process. You do not get this if they think your drug is no good. The program does not work well, but still, they heavily review the product it was not intended as a give away but similar to an early access program where it was intended that the creator of the treatment would be paid. The qualifications once you get the designation though, just are not practical. So the German program has pretty much failed.
