I think we will see those items you mention develop as we go along the way. I too spent several years in the high end Angus business. By using embryo development, artificial insemination and the drugs required for not only breeding but for their health was a big expense. By matching EPD's (expected progeny difference) and then measuring birth, weaning, yearly weights and ultrasound at yearly age all were needed to develop that prime cut meats that the public desires.
