All too often ivy schools encourage their students to chase the almighty buck - look at all the ivy grads who hitched their wagon to TFG because they're sure he can overturn our democracy and they want to be in on the action = $$$.
I don't think the schools do that. What the students are interested in is up to them. It's in part determined by the time in which they live. As I said, the Ivy students when I was in college in the late '60s were mostly liberal; the conservatives didn't advertise their beliefs, for the most part.
And I think you, like the others, are confusing undergraduate school, where everyone gets a liberal arts degree, with the professional post-graduate programs like law and business school.
But I think it's fair to say there're just as many, if not more, Ivy grads working for the Biden Administration as ever worked for Trumpty.
