2) History is replete with companies, public and private, that developed potential game changing technology in the lab but never became a success because the lab tolerances could never be modified enough to make it a profitable, mass produced manufacturing technology on the factory floor.

I agree with Koog until proven otherwise. Also, somebody mentioned in defense of the BOD stock sales, that they still own shares. Two reasons:

1) If they sold all or most of their shares, it would be the surest way to tank the stock right back to $.50, in less than a heart beat.
2) I prefer to look at it in a less benign way. If you knew for arguments sake, that the stock was trading for 10x (or more) it's true current value, then all you would need to do is sell 1/10 of your holdings to realize the real value of your shares as you perceive it. You would certainly not sell if you believed you were selling at a fraction of it's true worth, based on your intimate knowledge of the facts.
