First, you must not read my posts much to ask that kind of question of me. And certainly if you read the last sentence of my post you’d see I’m somewhat agreeing with you. But that being said this development is an acknowledgment of the ability to ramp up/scale their manufacturing. I’m trying to give credit where due and not be a contributor to misleading information. This approval is simply saying that a new entity, Advent, has shown they are capable of manufacturing this biologic to the same standards as it’s currently being done on a much smaller scale at the University where the trial is ongoing. The work involved in being able to do this is an immense accomplishment for NWBO and shows that they are capable and astute at doing the necessary steps to gain an approval from the MHRA. That is a stellar accomplishment.

The fact is, and has always been, that this is a big and important step in the continuing development of this technology and the footprint is being expanded at Sawston. With this NWBO now can generate substantial revenue and THIS IS THE STORY right now. The next step, along with TLD, is to show that FlaskWorks can manufacture to the same standards as the hand process now, integrate that into the continuing manufacturing practices necessary to move to commercial production in a much more scalable way than they are even right now (which was a huge step up as it is). In the coming months they’ll now more easily be able to transition to FlaskWorks as the BLA is submitted and prepare for full Manufacturer’s Authorization for a fully approved Marketing Authorization, not just an IMP (as it is now).

Let’s get the news out appropriately and allow the full nuance of how great this is to settle on intelligent and critically thinking minds. That should always be the goal
