Finance 101: if inflation is lower business want to borrow and expand. Okay bond prices increase and bond yields drop. Conversely if inflation. Increases like a 40 year high. Bond prices drop and bond yields rise significantly. Why isn't this happening? Risk assets feed off of inflation expectation. Why isn't this happening? short term yields are falling with an increase in inflation. Are we that stupid thinking?
