I've owned a small number of Boeing shares for perhaps 20 years and have often considered buying more. My shares were spun-off from Rockwell International when there was a company with that name. ROK is one of the great growth/dividend stocks of recent times. I've long held a HUGE investment in it.
TV news is now full of stories about jammed airports. That would be great for Boeing, airlines and many other businesses except it's not true if one examines raw air travel numbers.
Comparing daily air travel with the same day, pre-pandemic in 2019, shows a worrisome decline since omicron arrived. People aren't flying like they used to. Boeing's stock has followed that same decline. Airline stocks are very weak, too. https://www.tsa.gov/coronavirus/passenger-throughput
