This combo patent once awarded will cover all Checkpoint Inhibitors that are being sold into the market by MRK, BMY, AZN, Roche and who not. But for example if MRK buys us out, then Merck will file infringement lawsuits on the other BPs to the tune of multibillion treble damages if they infringe. We can still be bought out by MRK with a contingent milestone value added to the b/o deal in the event the combo patent is awarded. We just saw the DcVaxL patent awarded in Russia and Israel. Why such a patent bookkeeping in a rush but silently behind the noise? I see all the Quiet Period is about buyout, imo.
