Yes while on the surface Lightwave appears to have gone from 0 to 60 in record breaking time actually it took 20 years, 20 long years. I was here from the beginning, watched this company move from barely having enough money to now having a few years of cash on hand. They do not have any debt which is always good when negotiating deals.
Sounds like technology transfers will be first revenues. Kinda like allowing a company to use you KFC chicken in their chicken salad, allowing 5 others to use it in their chicken fingers all while retaining the rights to let others use the secret sauce.
Remember there are also device patents and ways to move the light on off and through silicon photonics so as they actually apply the goo they will be touching on those patents as well.
