Yes, for the most part. Corporations purchase these offsets so that they can get all kinds of tax breaks, etc... Lead Certification, etc... These are big deals when dealing with global carbon issues.
Look up TESLA....they didn't make their money selling their cars....They sold the offsets to the big companies....win win win...TESLA, Corporations, Environment...
