I believe that today they can fully differentiate between progression and pseudoprogression. What I don't know is how many years into the trial they were before they could make such a determination, and whether they could go backwards and determine when patients thought to have progressed but actually had pseudoprogression did actually progress, assuming at some point that they did. If these patients are still alive it's pretty clear that they either never actually progressed, or if they did, they actually improved, and perhaps were even cured, after progression was actually seen.

I'd really like to hear of DCVax-Direct going back into trials again. I just heard from my sister that her cancer has grown to the point that she refuses to have surgery, unless they find something to counter it, I believe her days are very numbered. I've told her about DCVax-Direct some time ago, but without a trial where it's available, I don't know it could be available in time. Her oncologists have kept it in check for some time, but with the news I don't know if they have anything else to try.
