IMO the worst news that could possibly come out next week would be that the 2021 year-end catalysts are officially being pushed back to Q1-2022. Personally, this would not shock me...and is one of the main reasons why I am reluctant to buy some trading shares at the current level. I think the only poster here who would be really shocked by this type of news is Investor2014...hehe

IMO, the announced date of 11/24 for financial reporting and the following conference call is concerning. I know many are dismissing it as being irrelevant. But I personally know of investors who have significant positions in AVXL, who have reduced their exposure purely due to the announced date, some of them freinds of mine. Based upon the tape action of the last two days one can certainly speculate that others are doing the same. It is difficult for me to rationalize the reasoning behind the decision to hold the event on Thanksgiving Eve. If Missling has good news to share, why do it when no one is around? By his decision to hold the event at this time, he has himself created a little FUD. It is hard to believe that he is not aware of just how small an audience he will have. Therefore the decision feeds speculation that something in the discussion will be disappointing. BTW, I have been very long AVXL for years and have introduced other investors to the company. And I must admit I am concerned about the timing of the event.
