Should Noah Syndergaard fail his physical with the Angels on Tuesday he can accept the Mets $18.4M qualifying offer by Wednesday’s 5:00 pm deadline.

Syndergaard doesn’t have to pass a physical with the Mets for the qualifying offer to be accepted. The qualifying offer is binding.
