Not always the case. Imagine a disgraced President that got caught before the GOP nomination with his vile disgusting self gratifying persona sweep the election process. Fast forward 5 years with 2 impeachments, public attempt to extort states from certifying elections, promoted a coup attempt, worked with insiders to accomplish this and to this day has the whole GOP in his pocket.

if the last 5 years of incompetence, lies, corruption, and promoting racism as the panacea for individuals woes and dismantling the Republic itself didn't change anyone's mind ONLY a personal attack on them would possibly make a difference. This nation is Masocistic.

I am sure many here will call my statement outrageous or false but none will challenge me to PROVE their views. I urge all to do so.
