THE definition of Gene Therapy is to replace or inactivate the gene, or introduce a new gene into the cell/body.
1. A Gene is DNA. 2. mRNA is RNA. 3. Both are nucleic acids
But mRNA is a copy of the gene: this is analogous to DNA being the book, and mRNA being a photocopy.
mRNA vaccines Do Not replace, inactivate or introduce new DNA.
