First of all, AOC and the others knew by the time they voted that the bill would pass. Nancy had made sure of that. So now their districts WILL get whatever they get, and their congresspeople can say they held out for more. It's just another compromise, and Nancy probably spoke with them about it.

As I said the other day, it's related to what Nicolle Wallace noted: When she was a Republican political operator, she could tell a Republican candidate to say something, and he'd ask, "Why?". She'd reply, "Because it'll help you win," and he'd agree to say it.

But Dems will continue to protest, citing another 10 things that need to be done immediately before they can decide whether to say it or not...
