I am in agreement with what you have stated, and if all goes as good as many here think it could then I too plan on having shares that hopefully reach the 4 figure level and collect dividends for years and years. But let's be real here...the idea of someone purchasing say 10,000 shares @ $5 cost basis and refusing to sell even a single share until the price reaches $1249 is beyond mindboggling to me. I mean at the very least shouldn't that person sell 100 shares @ $500 to recoup his/her initial investment! LOL

I bought with money I could afford to lose, so keeping (presumably, dividend-producing) shares locked up indefinitely if Anavex succeeds that well is a no brainer for me. What would I do with the proceeds? Spend it on something for the sake of spending it? Try to find a better investment, meanwhile paying capital gains? Remember, we should see dividends by then.
