Ask yourselves why they would have an algo trading selling 100 shares every minute or so at the bid. This is to keep the 'price' of the stock at bid for the majority of the time. This makes it more likely that people wishing to sell will let go of their shares on the bid and not patiently waiting for the ask to get there. I have to admit, that I do not have very much experience in dealing with OTC stocks, so I am not aware of how often Market Makers employ this strategy. It would never work on equities with high volume on major exchanges, but it seems to be a good strategy here.
