If you take a look at Mao's cultural revolution, you will see many of the same phenomenon occurring now. The safe spaces at colleges. The speech policing online. The statues coming down. There are many parallels between China then, and here now, because it is effectively the same people who are on the verge of trying the same kind of thing here now.
