I agree news out today or tomorrow would be great. Shorts would be screwed regardless of the SSR in place however. The SSR doesn't prohibit short-sales of stock, it only restricts it- much like the old up-tick rule prior i.e., can't short on the Bid- it's gotta be on an uptick.
